Nordic SME's and Regional Innovation System (SMEPOL)

The purpose of this project is to study the role and characteristics of SMEs in development of regions in Nordic countries, specifically their role in the formation of regional clusters. Several cases compared, e.g. the wireless communications clusters in Aalborg DK and Kista SE, the biotechnology cluster in Gothenberg SE, the functional food cluster in Lund SE, and many others.
