Description

This PhD thesis aim is to develop recommendations to the spceific content in the requirement regarding "continues improvement" in the ISO standard 15189.

Methods used is action research, where spcific work-site- cases are selected.
Mixed methods are applied within a project management model. The model is a hybrid between a stage-gate and an agile model.
The first gate is explorative investigations, and consists of both quantitative and qualiative data, in order to analyze the case.
the next gates are experimentals, which are action-based. Gate nr 2 consits of workshops, like focus group interviews, in order to design new approaches. Gate 3 are tested in a specific timeframe, and effect is measured.
Gate 4 can test iterations, and evaluate the project, in order to conduct evidence-based practice.
