Project Details

Description

The primary aim of the project is to examine and identify architectonic and technical consequences and of integrated building concepts, which aim at a reduction of the present energy consumption in residential housing by a factor 2, 5 or 10 and, at the same time, obtain good comfort for the persons in the building. In the project, a number of sub-elements is covered: 1) Study of existing low-energy concepts in residential housing, which may be interesting to incorporate into a passiv haus concept in order to reduce the energy consumption for heating and electricity and to supply the house by way of renewable energy sources. At the same time, they should appear as well-integrated, architectonic solutions, which provide good comfort. possibilities 2) Development of proposals for integrated building concepts for e.g. residential homes. What are the implications of the architectonic and technical possibilities and consequences when the various purposes (factor 2, 5 or 10) are obtained? This includes a study of existing possibilities for the selection of technologies, which can be requirement and user-controlled. 3) The energy-neutral or almost energy-neutral house. What are the requirements for future architectonic and technical solutions if such a house is to be built?
