PBL and interdisciplinarity

IAS-PBL focuses on PBL as an internationally recognized educational tradition and is particularly committed to develop PBL’s potential in the context of higher education programs at AAU. One of the main features of the problem-based learning approach is its emphasis on interdisciplinarity. As part of an institution-wide effort, AAU now initiates a large-scale development project to strengthen students’ competences to study and work across disciplinary boundaries, including boundaries between SSH and STEM disciplines.
