Project Details
Description
The project studies the narratives and communities that have been, and are, formed in the case of Mariagerfjord Municipality which was formed in 2007 during the danish municipal reform, and explores how these narratives and communities interplay with the municipality management's wish to improve settling of newcomers to the area, and improve overall intramunicipal co-operation across a variety of stakeholders. The project takes its theoretical point of departure in the field of place branding, and uses a qualitative research design due to the exploratory nature of the research.
