Project Details

Description

Driven by existing and upcoming high value markets for hydrogen for transportation and process industry it is the focus point of this project to demonstrate - in an industrial scale - how sustainable hydrogen produced by water electrolysis can offer grid balancing services to the electricity grid operator in a feasibly way, and how different energy sectors (power, transportation and industry) can interact in a coherent energy system.. This project seeks to demonstrate state of the art electrolyser technologies providing and receiving revenue by providing these balancing services, whilst distributing (and receiving revenues from) hydrogen for high value markets.
