    Description

    The vision of the ROBOCUT project is to develop a revolutionary new laser cutting technology, which relies on a multi-beam principle, where the cutting process is performed with a complex laser beam pattern rather than as in traditional laser cutting, with a single round laser beam. The effect of this new technology is burr free cutting in a wide cutting rate range, resulting in both high speed cutting capability and quality cut kerfs in narrow contour cutting, where the cutting rate must be reduced around sharp corners due to dynamics limitations. The ROBOTCUT technology enables significantly faster, cheaper and more flexible cutting than both state-of the-art CO2 laser cutting technology and the fiber laser cutting technology, which is currently being developed globally.
