Description
The SilverNomad.EU project will develop and launch a mobile service supporting trans-border mobility for older persons in Europe. The focal point is the financial factors restricting mobility for older persons at the European level
This wished-for mobility supporting service solution is backed by a realistic business plan and delivered by applied R&D activities. While the anticipated time-distance-to-market is 12 – 18 month from project end for a full roll-out of the SilverNomad.EU service solution, the project design supports a continuous dissemination process with user validated public available results released every six months already during the project phase. The duration of the project is 24 months.
Within the first year of the project the SilverNomad.EU web portal will be implemented and the business agreements with leading service providers will be negotiated and signed. Within the second year the functionality of the web portal will be made accessible from mobile devices through rich web applications (HTML5) developed and validated in tight cooperation with older persons (end-users).
