Project Details

Description

Skimmel.dk (mold.dk) is an independent, national knowledge center where occupants, building owners, building operating staff and professionals in the building industry get knowledge and advice on how mold fungus and moisture/humidity impacts our indoor environment quality – and how mold fungus can be removed and avoided.

Science communication
skimmel.dk communicates science-based knowledge via website, social media, presentations and other activities.
Skimmel.dk gives impartial advice on mold fungus in buildings. We answer enquiries via phone and email.

Research and education
At skimmel.dk, we research in e.g., conditions that can lead to mold growth, how to better detect and measure mold fungus, and how to improve the indoor environment quality.
Researchers and employees associated with skimmel.dk writes industry guidelines (SBi-anvisninger) related to mold fungus in buildings.
Our researchers teach at several educations at Aalborg University and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

The project is funded by Landsbyggefonden and Grundejernes Investeringsfond.
