Project Details

Description

This project is about the development of a novel smart total knee arthroplasty (TKA) implant to restore healthy knee joint biomechanics. By enabling postoperative adjustment of the implant, it allows us to fine-tune the postoperative joint stability with the aim of reducing frequently occurring complications such as knee instability, pain and reduced function, ultimately leading to fewer revisions and higher patient satisfaction.
