Description

The aim of this project is through field measurements, wind tunnel tests and CFD simulation of wind conditions, air flows around buildings and pressure conditions on facades to improve the basis for modelling natural ventilation. Existing methods for evaluating wind and pressure conditions on facades and thus determining data for calculating natural ventilation in buildings are rather inaccurate and may result in miscalculations up to 50%. The project is performed in cooperation with BRI, Japan and is funded by the Villum Kann Rasmussen Foundation via Hybrid Ventilation Centre at Aalborg University
