Study of carbon nanotubes and carbon nanotube - polypropylene

    Project Details

    Description

Carbon nanotubes have been found to possess exceptional material properties including outstanding mechanical properties which can be utilized in high strength and large stiffness polymeric composites. In this study the usage of carbon nanotubes as reinforcing phase in polypropylene composites have been studied using both experimental techniques (thermal analysis, scanning electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy etc.) and numerical methods (molecular dynamics simulations).
