Surfactant protein interactions

In collaboration with Leo-Pharma A/S, we have purified the surfactant protein SP-B and SP-C and demonstrated subtle changes in structure in different micelle and lipid environments. The QCM-D technique has proved very useful in establishing an assay for the effect of surfactant proteins on vesicle elasticity (Klaus Kristoffersen, Daniel Otzen).
