Project Details

Description

Exaggerated pronation of the foot is a factor that induces painful conditions in the foot and eventually in the leg. Normal treatment procedure has primarily been orthosis and/or information and secondary exercise therapy. There are very few randomised controlled trials and none of good quality, where the effect of custom-made orthosis and/or exercise therapy has been measured.
The aim of this study is to investigate which treatment may be the most effective in relation to pain conditions and exaggerated foot pronation.
