Description

Based on a desire for high quality, efficiency and a balanced allocation of resources in the health services area there is a constant demand for optimization of the quality of registration regarding diagnosis, treatment and DRG-value (DRG = Diagnosis Related Groups) related to patient treatment. From the middle of the ninetieth the DRG-system has been used to shed light on the productivity in Danish hospitals. The present study has been performed as a control investigation into the quality of registrations after the introduction of an organization for registrations in the county of Northern Jutland.
