Description

In this project, we apply the time reversal (TR) to downlink multi-user wireless communications. Several algorithms to evaluate and enhance the performance of TR in a multi-user environment are proposed and examined using real-life channel measurements. The scenarios and characteristics of the propagation channel that define the performance of TR are determined. The performance of the proposed algorithms in imperfect conditions is also evaluated. Finally, enhanced versions of the proposed algorithms to counteract these practical hurdles are investigated.
