Typology for interfaces between new product development and operations

The project aims at defining and investigating generic types of interfaces between new product development and operations. The typology distinguishes between internal and external relationships. A number of projects will be associated with this project, each of which will focus on specific variables that together define the contingency of the interface, such as the newness of the product under development, the involvement of other parties as the initiator of development process, the specific supply chain, the type of products, the business in which the companies operate, etc. External partners: ?
