Description
In close collaboration with Volvo User Experience competence center (Volvo UXCC) this project examines the potentials and problems in voice-controlled interaction with a car. The research problem is approached both through a classic research framework of human-computer-interaction (HCI) as well from the perspective of user-experience. For the former approach, the project will compare classic tactile car-interaction with voice-controlled interaction. For the latter approach, the project will examine the user's conceptualisation of agency and control in relation in increasingly automated cars / assisted driving / autonomous cars.
