Description
WABAT develops a Workshop Automated Battery Tester for battery diagnosis on electrical vehicles (EV) based on the unique method from the Batnostic EUDP-project (EUDP no. 64015-0611). The diagnosis is performed through the DC-charge plug and are yet the only method for independent battery assessment based on test rather than information from the car producer.
The project brings two new innovative products to the market, and supports furthermore the Danish political objectives of a fossil free transport and energy sector with research and experimental investigation in batteries and Vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technologies, that can be incorporated in a future national Smart-Grid.
