Abstract

With the situation that "cities besieged by waste" becomes aggravating and the intermingle of multiple energy forms in urban energy system grows, the interaction between waste disposal facilities energy supply and multi-energy system has become one of the key issues to be considered in urban energy system planning. To address the problem of urban multi-energy system planning concerning the supply and demand characteristics of waste disposal facilities, this paper proposed a joint peak shaving strategy with waste incineration power plant and sewage gasification facilities by the research of waste disposal facilities energy supply and demand characteristics and its potential for peak shaving. Meanwhile, a sustainable development multi-energy system planning model was established. Furthermore, based on the actual waste stockpile and energy data of a city in Northeast China, a sustainable development multi-energy system planning simulation model was established. The case analysis results show that the multi-energy system planning model proposed in this paper can reduce the planning cost of urban multi-energy system effectively, and realize the efficient coordination among waste disposal capacity, waste energy supply and peak shaving demand as well.
