Abstract
State of Health (SOH) balancing is crucial for extending lithium-ion battery life. This paper introduces a Finite Control Set Model Predictive Control (FCS-MPC) method for an 8-cell pack, achieving faster SOH uniformity than traditional methods by dynamically adjusting control actions and optimizing cell usage to reduce degradation.
