Abstract

This paper demonstrates how action research can contribute to organizational learning. This is illustrated through an example from a larger action research project within a public institution specialized in supporting citizens with significant visual and hearing impairments. In the project, leaders and employees from the institution collaborated on specific actions for learning and knowledge development defined by themselves. In the project two internal consultants and two university researchers facilitated dialogical processes by use of reflecting team, witnessing team, and future workshops to support the participants in their actions and initiatives to develop learning and knowledge in the organization.
