Abstract
This paper presents an intelligent droop control scheme for DC/DC Boost converter which is used as voltage regulator in islanded DC Microgrid. This approach is a combination of Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) and Genetic Algorithm (GA) which is used to improve voltage regulation and equal power sharing between the DGs under abrupt load changing while the power losses is low. The propose control performance is compared with the other typical droop control approach. The simulation results are further verified by SIMULINK in MATLAB/SimPowerSystems. The proposed control scheme on this paper has two important advantages, online approach by using Fuzzy Inference System design and its lower dependence on the mathematical model of the network.
