The chapter presents the primary result of a sustainability analysis that is performed for the Danish island of Samsø by the application of work energy capacity, also denoted as exergy or sometimes ecoexergy, to emphasize when we calculate exergy for natural systems. The theoretical background knowledge and the definitions that are necessary to understand the analysis and to interpret the analytical results were given in Chapter 11.
