•Cyclist injuries are as costly as car driver and car passenger injuries.
•Pedestrian falls are dominant in hospital data and cost as car injuries.
•Injuries of MC and moped drivers the most expensive, however, relatively few.
•Injuries of pedestrians in multiparty crashes also expensive.
