Abstract

The characteristic analysis is the key to studying lithium-ion batteries. Determining the operating characteristics of lithium-ion batteries can provide a theoretical basis for the modeling and state parameter estimation of batteries. Therefore, this chapter analyzes the working principle and characteristics of power lithium-ion batteries. By designing the test experiment for power lithium-ion batteries, and applying the experimental results to the analysis of the operating characteristics of batteries, the variation law of the internal energy resistance and open-circuit voltage during the battery working is obtained, which provides an important theoretical basis for model construction and internal state parameter estimation in the follow-up research.
