Abstract

The purpose of this report is to evaluate the energy requirements in the Danish Building Regulation in relation to the COMMISSION DELEGATED REGULATION (EU) No 244/2012 of 16 January 2012 on a comparative methodology framework for calculating cost-optimal levels of minimum energy performance requirements for buildings and building elements. The Delegated Regulation is required in the EPBD (recast): DIRECTIVE 2010/31/EU OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 19 May 2010 on the energy performance of buildings (recast) (amended by Directive EU 2018/844 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2018). The evaluation is performed by the Department of the Built Environment, Aalborg University on request from the Danish Transportation, Building and Housing Agency.
