Abstract

This chapter explores the notions of thinking on learning games as something fun, based on content exploration, and as realistic. By exploring a learning game on change management, the chapter attempts to disconnect from those solutions to the problems on how to incite participation in learning games, how to create its learning processes and how to understand the quality of the experience. By unsettling the commonly accepted answers to those questions, alternative opportunities and their effects are explored in order to provide opportunities for innovating the use and design of learning games by rethinking the didactic design for using such games to facilitate learning processes.
