Abstract
How to teach intercultural communication and intercultural competence in high schools from a critical perspective; i.e. teaching about cultural complexity and global similarities rather than cultural differences? This question is becoming increasingly relevant in Danish and Greenlandic high schools in the subject ‘Cultural awareness’ (‘Kulturforståelse’ in the Danish HTX, and ‘Kulturfag’ in the Greenlandic GUX).
