Abstract

Digitalisation is an international trend in environmental assessment research and practice that takes place in very different contexts and with very different objectives and processes. This paper presents and explores the stakeholder ecosystem approach to digitalisation that is applied in Denmark, more specifically in the case of the DREAMS project. The paper outlines stakeholders and digital tools, as well as what role the stakeholders have played in developing the tools. Finally, the paper discusses experiences with the ecosystem approach. The results are relevant for any environmental assessment stakeholder involved in digitalisation initiatives.
