Abstract

This paper presents an efficiency modelling and analysis method for multi-bus microgrids with transmission network. Efficiency model of multi-bus microgrid is first established to analyze efficiency characteristic under different load profiles. Then, optimum operation point of microgrids is derived according to established efficiency model by Lagrange Multiplier Method. Simulation results are provided to validate the proposed efficiency modelling and analysis method. The analysis results show that optimum power sharing ratio to capture maximum efficiency is related with load profiles in a multi-bus microgrid. Full simulation and experimental results will be given in final submission.
