This contribution informs on original proof-of-concept qualitative
research initially questioning how an electrorganic device may be
implemented in music therapy and if applicable to professional use
and in educations. Targeted is a shifting of boundaries in music
therapy to supplement the field. A goal in this work is to determine
if such an electrorganic technology, that had never been used in the
field of therapy previously, was feasible to be used with benefit to
end-users who typically are diagnosed with challenging behaviors.
A research protocol was developed to guide the work and applied
use by music therapists. Theoretical and methodological frameworks
are offered herein for reflection and critique. Hands-on demos
by professionals resulted in early phase favorable assessments
and positive evaluations. Trials by practicing music therapists are
