Abstract

A large number of countries limit ministers and officials access to take employment in private business and in private organizations after finishing positions in the government. The purpose is to protect confidential information, counteract false actions and ensure confidence to public administration. Denmark has not yet introduced such rules, but the international tendency is coming so close to Denmark that there may be good reason to consider the appropriateness of such rules.
