Abstract
This Special Issue of the IEEE Journal on Emerging and Selected Topics in Circuits and Systems (JETCAS) is dedicated to demonstrating the latest research progress on the stability and robustness of power grids with high penetration of power electronics.

Funding Information:Sinan Li (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. He has been with The University of Bath, U.K., and The University of Hong Kong as an Assistant Professor and a PostDoctoral Research Fellow, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, The University of Sydney, Australia. He has authored or coauthored more than 40 transaction and conference papers, and holds five worldwide patents (three transferred to industry). His research interest includes all areas of power electronics. He is also the Discovery Early Career Research Award (DECRA) Fellow of the Australian Research Council. He was a Founding Member of the IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (HKN), The University of Hong Kong. He was a recipient of the Best Paper Award (Second Place) of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON POWER ELECTRONICS in 2019. He also serves as a Guest Associate Editor for the IEEE JOURNAL OF EMERGING AND SELECTED TOPICS OF CIRCUITS AND SYSTEMS.
