Jens F. Jensen has since 2001 been professor in interactive multimedia at the Department of Communication, which is a department under the Faculty of Humanities at Aalborg University. Additionally, he is head of the Research Centre for Interactive Digital Media, InDiMedia, head of the Centre for Experience Economy, Creative Industries and Technologies, ExCITe, and head of the Centre for Applied Experience Economy, ApEx. Currently he is project head for BID-TV (usercentred interactive, digital TV) and Plan B, a project on broadband TV and user-generated content. The primary research interests are digital interactive multimedia, network-based media, media convergence, digital aesthetics and new media’s sociology and user-culture.
