Abstract

This chapter explores navigations and understandings of discrimination and racism in Danish higher education. It draws on structural discrimination as an analytical framework and human rights as an internationally shared point of departure for defining and identifying discrimination. Using two stock stories as cases, the chapter discusses the use of racializing and racist language in the context of teaching topics related to race, racism, and discrimination.
