Abstract
Once upon a time tourist were happy amateurs who just wanted to get away from home to lie on the beach, eat some but not too much strange food, drink some and sometimes too many exotic drinks and just enjoy life. In short, they wanted sun, sea and sex. Now, however, these amateurs have transformed themselves into professional experience hunters travelling twice and more times a year, having seen much of the world, and consequently comparing prices, quality, supply and experiences. Guide books like Lonely Planet and Rough Guide guide tourists to experiences all over the world indicating plus and minus experiences. Home pages like http://www.pilotguides.com/ offer the opportunity for travellers to discuss the most cool experiences, exchange travel stories and appoint and discuss favourite destinations.
