Abstract
This paper describes a research and development project funded by the Danish Ministry of Education. The project design differs in a number of ways from the way in which the Ministry of Education has traditionally supported development projects, as the process is more structured and schematized than seen in former projects. The paper explains the theoretical foundation for the project and describes in depth the intervention design. Following this description, we discuss the weaknesses strengths of the design based upon our experiences as well as the existing methodological literature. The paper argues that even though the project design is far from flawless it holds a great potential for enhancing organizational learning and development, especially if future activities takes the critique put forward in this paper into considerations.
