    Abstract

When constructing environmentally sound buildings, it is necessary to have access to environmental data for the materials connected with a product during its whole life cycle. This report presents quantitative environmental data for the manufacture of insulation products such as loose-fill products made from cellulose fibres, panels made of flax and products made of perlite. The report also shows how these data can be used to calculate environmental loads for building elements. Moreover it gives a quantitative assessment of the environmental impact of the products on the indoor climate and at their disposal.
