Abstract

With more and more wind power generation is connected in grid, the fluctuation of wind is concerned more and more by people. This paper proposed a possible way to solve the fluctuation problem by combining wind farm, PEM electrolyzer and combustion turbine together, so that from the point of grid, the whole system works like a traditional power plant with infinite power input. The detailed PEM electrolyzer is applied in this paper so that the behavior of the PEM electrolyzer could be study when fluctuation power is sent into the electrolyzer.
