The present report describes the work done in the Phase 1a during the research project "Modelling and Control of Grid Converter". The developed models for the plant and different control strategies for the grid converter are presented in detail. Simulation results under different operating conditions are also shown. Finally, a harmonic analysis of the phase current and voltage in the PCC is given.
