N2 - Traditionally sustained monomorphic ventricular tachycardia (SMVT) is associated with areas of myocardial scar such as that of chronic coronary artery disease. We present a case of SMVT in the initial setting of an acute myocardial infarction in a previously healthy individual suggesting that acute ischemia can give rise to SMVT.
