Monopol på Ligestilling? Etniske minoritetskvinder om 'dansk' ligestilling

How do women with an immigrant or refugee background view gender equality in Denmark? Who defines what is understood as gender equality in Danish society? For example, is there room for women who are practicing Muslims and resident in Denmark to contribute to the understanding of gender equality? This article discusses these issues and documents how a number of women with an ethnic minority background talk about gender equality in connection with their experiences as front runners in a number of voluntary local women's associations around Denmark.
