Abstract

The chapter covers the smart wireless sensors for microgrids,
as well as the energy harvesting technology used to sustain the operations
of these sensors. Last, a case study on the multiple distributed smart
microgrids with a self-autonomous, energy harvesting wireless sensor
network is presented.
