Abstract
The use of music in hospitals is a common practice that has
historical records since the beginning of last century. This practice has been conducted by music therapists and recently by music teachers. This article aims to reflect on the music therapist’s praxis as well as on the musical educator's praxis in hospitals through a literature review in order to show differences and similarities in each of these activities from an analysis of objectives; process; relationships and participants involved; features, techniques, methods, and population.
