Abstract

Many of the work methods used in music therapy are based on improvisation. In clinical practise, there are many situations demanding free improvisation advanced skills from music therapists. The present article presents some practical ideas and suggestions for the teaching of free improvisation orientated towards music therapy, on the background of the teaching at Aalborg University, Denmark.
