Abstract

Although most structures are subjected to dynamic, stochastic loads, it is in fact seldom that these loads are considered in the design, Normally the design is based on an equivalent static load, establishing naturally with due consideration to the true conditions, This method is often called deterministic, the loading being described as a specified function of time.
