Abstract

Ideal transmission policies are relevant nowadays to reduce energy consumption or increase throughput in mobile networks. In this work, we propose two recoding schemes with collision avoidance mechanism to reduce the number of transmission required to convey a batch of packets from a source to a destination through several non-interconnected relays. Our findings indicate benefits when employing relays with different ideal medium access probabilities.
