Abstract

This review seeks to map relevant ontologies, tools and platforms designed to track, capture and visualize research impact. Looking at existing tools and platforms, the review seeks to create a better understanding of how different academic activities are represented and how (meta) data is collected, presented and connected to research funding agencies and knowledge organisations. Through a descriptive analysis, the report describes a number of methods and applications relevant for tracking broader impact activities and outputs of Open Science with a special focus on humanities and social sciences.
