Abstract
Transferring a successful on-campus project-organized learning method to
distance continued education is complicated by the fact, that the target group
as well as the learning environment and forms of communication are fundamentally
different. The Master of Industrial Information Technology distance education
has been selected for experiments with utilization of new information and
commu-nication technology and didactic adjustments to make this transfer from
on-campus to off-campus a successful endeavor. The adjustments, as well as the
assessment of their effect, are based on a system-atic monitoring and evaluation
of the first year, and subsequent reflections by students and
teachers.
